Greetings from england
Hello I am from england and support Man Utd, I have always had a soft spot for norwegian football. I first starting playing as Rosenborg on FM many years ago. They seemed like a norwegian version of Man Utd but then I became to like Tromso. I would love to one day visit tromso but it is really expensive? I would just like to ask is there anyway you know possible for me to watch tromso matches live at my home in the UK? Thanks

I guess I can give you some advice even though you are a Man U fan
. I support Liverpool, but Tromso is of course much more important for me.
Hope you understand my english
Everything is expensive in Norway
Of course there is the flight cost, but also the accomodation (hotel), which is quite expensive in Norway. And its expensive to eat out, and a trip to the pub will probably give you a shock. A "pint" of beer (in fact 0,4-0,5 litres) costs about 6-7 GBP, maybe even more, and a drink about 9-10 (+ +) GBP. The airport is very close to the city centre in Tromso, it will only take you 10-15 minutes with a taxi or airport bus.
But it is a lovely city, with many tourists here during the summer and autumn. One of the main atraction is the cable car that will bring you on top of a mountain, from there you will have a spectacular view over the city and the area around. And, in the summertime (from late april to august) there is never dark here!
I am not sure where you can watch the matches when you lives outside Norway. You can try checking out http://www.wiziwig.tv/ , its a sort of streaming service and from time to time they are showing Tromsos matches, but not everyone. Of course the quality is not that good, but at least its free. There is of course possible to pay to watch all games on TV/pc, but I am not up to date about that because I dont use those services. Maybe someone else can give some advises about that.

Liverpool will be on top again, next year, as always
Tickets costs from about £ 16-32 GBP (150-300 norwegian kroner) for adults, there are special prices for children, students and elderly. Season tickets from only 130 GBP (behind the goal, without roof, and with the bad weather here, not a smart place to buy a season ticket
), or from abouth 210-340 GBP for the rest of the stadium. Members of the supporters club can buy a season ticket for about 190 GBP (adult).
No, "everything" is not that expensive here as a beer at the pub, but as a foreigner I suppose you will find it expensive in Norway. People in Norway earns good, or better than in many other countrys, but still, wery many of us think it`s expensive here. There is of course possible to find good offers and so, etc
And, there are still "happy hours" at the pubs, with prices down to "just" 4,50 GBP. That is the price the supporters pay at "our" pub on match days.
(1 GBP is about 9-10 norwegian kroner)

Kick off tomorrow is at 6 pm (18.00). I`m not sure where the cheapest place to stay is. I can try to find out some more, but not now. I know that there are a hostel open in the summer.
